Each year, the Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux leads young people from throughout the diocese on a Pro-Life Pilgrimage to Washington, D.C., including participation in the annual March for Life.

The pilgrimage offers an opportunity for prayer, education, and reflection. Along the way, participants visit historic monuments and sites, the Holocaust Museum, the White House and U.S. Capitol, and the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, where they celebrate Mass.

Joining hundreds of thousands of people from across the country at the March for Life, our young people witness to the dignity of human life and reflect on the value, dignity, and calling of their own lives. The pilgrimage is designed as a retreat experience, inviting participants to deepen their faith and consider what it means to respect and protect human life, from conception through natural death.
