SCHEDULING CONFIRMATION

The Office of Worship is pleased to assist you in coordinating the Sacrament of Confirmation in your parish for both youth and adults. We ask that each parish submit to the Office of Worship three preferences out of the available dates and times provided on the calendar of when you desire your parish’s Confirmation to be celebrated with the bishop. The bishop will start to celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation beginning in the month of January and will conclude the celebrations in May. No confirmations will be celebrated during the Lenten season.
Please note that priority will be given to those who submit the form prior to your submission. Once we have received your form, our office will be in communication with each parish to inform you on which preference has been approved. Please do not publicize your Confirmation date until it has been officially approved by the Office of Worship.
The bishop that is scheduled to celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation in your parish this year is Bishop Emeritus Sam G. Jacobs. Should a new bishop be appointed before, then we will try our best to honor your date if the new bishop's schedule allows it. Should something change, you and your parish will be notified directly by our office.
