Holy Savior Church Reopens Marking Final Church Reopening After Hurricane Ida

After nearly five years of recovery following Hurricane Ida, Holy Savior Catholic Church at 612 Main Street in Lockport reopened its doors to parishioners on Saturday, June 13. Bishop Simon Peter Engurait celebrated the Blessing of the Altar and Rededication of the Church during a 10 a.m. Mass, marking the final church reopening in the Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux following the storm in August 2021.

New Pastoral Appointments Announced
